Experiential education and training uses physical and mental activities that depart from peoples' everyday tasks. By participating in these activities they can "experience" learning and take part in developing skills that can help them to achieve personal and team goals. Most often, these activities are excellent tools for working on the following objectives:
  • Building Teamwork Skills
  • Developing Leadership Skills
  • Improving Communication Skills
  • Working on Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills
  • Building a Sense of Trust
  • Developing Group Cohesion or Morale
  • Building Self Confidence and Testing Perceived Limits
  • Resolving Conflict Among Group Members
  • Having FUN!

Experiential Systems designs and builds "challenge courses" and provides the necessary training for people to use these activities to work towards these kinds of objectives. Challenge courses may consist of ropes courses, climbing towers, group initiatives, or a combination of all three. These elements are designed to make people think in different ways, requiring the ideas and involvement of all team members for the successful completion of the tasks. With safe and insightful facilitation, experiential activities have unlimited potential to provide all kinds of learning.
